Kinds of Information

There are two kinds of information Web sites can obtain about you:

Aggregate Information: Aggregate Information is anonymous data that Web sites use to diagnose problems on the sites´ servers, administer the sites, and to help improve the quality of the Web pages. It may be your domain name (i.e. "XYZ.com") or your IP address.

Personally Identifiable Information: Personally Identifiable Information is any information that personally identifies you. It can be your first and last name, your email address, your home address, or your telephone number. Sometimes this personal information is needed when you order products online, sign up with an Internet Service Provider (ISP) or subscribe to an email newsletter. Other times, Web sites collect this information to help target advertising and marketing.

Currently, WQCB-FM.com collects no Aggregate Information. In the future, if it becomes necessary to collect such information in order to improve operation of this Web
Site, you will be alerted to the change in our procedures on our Home Page and in this privacy statement. Aggregate information – such as your IP address (a number that's automatically assigned to your computer whenever you're surfing the Web), browser type (e.g., Netscape or Internet Explorer), and domain (e.g., "XYZ.com") is useful to help diagnose problems with our servers, to administer our site, and to gather broad demographic information. None of this information is connected with Personally Identifiable Information. So, when you enter our site, you are anonymous and will remain that way unless you choose otherwise.

Cookies

WQCB-FM.com does not currently use cookies. However, future applications such as on-line merchandising or fan surveys may work best if cookies are used to customize the web site for your browser. At such time, WQCB-FM.com may improve its service to you through cookies, but we will make an announcement on this site at the time of implication.

WQCB-FM.com will never use cookies to retrieve information from your computer that was not originally sent by us to you in a cookie. WQCB-FM.com does not use information transferred through cookies for any promotional or marketing purposes.

WQCB-FM.com was designed to provide users with easy access to virtually everything country on the Internet. Our site contains many, many links. You may get cookies from linked sites, as well as from our advertisers and our vendors. WQCB-FM.com does not control these cookies, and these cookies are not subject to this privacy policy. The use of advertising cookies sent by third-party servers is standard in the Internet industry.

Contests and Sweepstakes

From time to time WQCB-FM.com runs contests and sweepstakes in which we ask for Personally Identifiable Information such as your name, email address or telephone number. That's so we can let you know when you've won. We may also request Personally Identifiable Information such as your age and gender, and may require this information in exchange for entering the contest.

Entering WQCB-FM.com contests implies permission to publish winner names. If you win one of our contests or sweepstakes, we may publish your name and hometown on this site unless you specifically request to remain anonymous.

Country Club

This site offers an opportunity to join the Q-106.5 Country Club, which requires Personally Identifiable information. Membership in this club entitles members to receive advance e-mail alerts of contests, concerts, and other Q-106.5 events and activities. We may also occasionally offer exclusive deals from advertisers directly to our members. WQCB-FM.com never sells, gives or shares this information with any other party. Any advertiser offers will be made through WQCB-FM.com to Country Club members and will not come from the advertisers themselves. Members will be given the opportunity to "opt out" of receiving such marketing offers without jeopardizing any of the other benefits they receive from the Club. Members may also request termination of their membership at any time and all Personally Identifiable information will be promptly removed from the data base.

Feedback and Email

On every page at WQCB-FM.com, there is a link to a “feedback” email form so you can comment, complain, make suggestions, and ask questions. Your email address is required on this form so we can answer your questions, and we want your name, too, so we can address our answer in a mannerly way. We do not share this information with third parties and we will use it only to answer your correspondence.

WQCB-FM.com Store

The WQCB-FM.com Store (not yet in operation) uses a printable order form that requires Personally Identifiable information from those who wish to buy Q-106.5 t-shirts, hats, and other souvenirs and premiums. Names, street addresses, and financial information are required to complete these orders, and may also be used to contact customers about their orders when necessary. This information is never shared with third parties.

Security of Private Information

WQCB-FM.com makes its best effort to keep all private information safe and secure. Database information is kept offline and inaccessible to hackers. We do not request and do not store credit card information. We do not sell, give, or share any information with Third Parties.

Any personal information you give us is kept in secure files. Access is limited to the few employees who have a need to know.
